What Leanne Kanellis dislikes about Bon Temps Cafe:
We are from out of town and were visiting friends and they highly recommended this restaurant. The food was ok but the staff was the best. I tried their sampler platter and didn't love the food but I strongly believe it might just be my tastes. The chicken was semi-soggy and not very flavourful. The ribs were ok. Somewhat disappointed after spending over $200 for 4 of us. Might be worth another shot though but might... View all feedback.
We had charcuterie and pile o bone for our cocktail, and it was fantastic. Place is really good, the service is perfect. Staff are amazing, especially Kaitlin, who is so very entertaining and well knowledge about their products. Would love to come back. We had a great afternoon with them.
Family get together here was fantastic! Hurricanes were refreshing and yum. Food was very good and worth the wait. It was very busy but our waitress stayed on top of things. She went above and beyond for everyone. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting or living in Saskatoon.
The food was ok. I ordered the jambalaya and did not like it. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but coming from the South, that wasn't it. Everyone else in my group enjoyed their food. The blackened salmon was really good, and the Mac and cheese was good as well. Drinks were ok, in my opinion. I love sweet cocktails, and what the waiter recommended as sweet was not it. However, I noticed their cocktails have a lot of bitters in them. If you love bitters, then this place is for you. Also, we ordered the sangria, and it was also just ok. However, the servers were friendly, and they were very professional and respectful. Although I didn't enjoy what I ordered, I am willing to revisit and try something else because of the service.Kid-friendliness: They only had Mac and cheese for the kiddos so if your little one isn't into spicy or more complex food. It may be hard to find something for them here.
Great atmosphere and friendly service. We enjoy sitting at the bar. We hit happy hour/Old Fashioned Friday and enjoyed our drinks and food!
Great meal and awesome atmosphere. Voodoo Hour from 4-6pm is definitely worth going for. We had a couple drinks off the menu and the Bang Bang Shrimp. Battered shrimp with a bit of kick.. They were delicious! Blackened Salmon and Seafood Creole were melt in your mouth meals. Can't wait to go back!! Two thumbs and two big toes up for his place!
