The perfect answer for dinner at a stay in La Fonda and you do not want to ventilate a great meal or after a long day of exploration. I went with the queen and let her leave the chicken and it still had good taste and was the perfect amount of food. Unholy experience. What I once knew as the world-famous La Fonda will now be known as “La Farta”!!! My friend and I both come from families who are not only currently living in NM, but also come to La Fonda for years! We thought in the lounge some Margs and Queso. Reading a sign “please wait to sit” but after about 10 minutes waiting I just asked the kitchen staff if we could sit. Overpriced food/drinks were expected... View all feedback.
A very busy place. It was a Saturday during the Hot Air Balloon Festival. Wait was too long for the restaurant so I opted for the Lounge. Seating for one was w/o a wait!!! I ordered an Old Fashioned, chili rellenos and onion rings. ALL WERE EXCELLENT.There was only ONE SERVER for all the lounge tables. Food and drink came very fast. Follow-up service ..... yur on your own. However, one can do that without being rude to staff. I simply flagged down the food runner for a to-go box, and the host totake my credit card. It worked just DON'T GO if you're in a rush OR IN A DEMANDING MOOD. The ultimate question: Would Ireturn? ABSOLUTELY
Great dinner for a great price, they brought some dessert out for my son in his birthday. I will always remember that from their staff!
Fabulous hotel and the main restaurant is very good but lounge not as top notch. Staff is great and bartender Mark is an entertainment gem. I had the Caesar salad w chicken and it was about as exciting as moist cardboard. No taste to the dressingthat might identify it as Caesar. Chicken was subpar. Maybe it was a bad night.

Reading a sign “please wait to sit” but after about 10 minutes waiting I just asked the kitchen staff if we could sit. Overpriced food/drinks were expected, but my girlfriend took a hair in the Queso was not. When this was pointed out to the unfriendly/unattentive waitress, she had nothing to say and didn't even think to exclude the Queso from the bill. Save your money and go to La Choza first or Taco Bell second.
The Chile Relleno was pretty good. Margaritas was terrible.
