While the food menu may lack vegetarian options and has faced some inconsistencies in portion sizes, highlights include the tuna tacos, house-smoked ribs, and delightful desserts like the black sesame torte. Service quality varies, often enhancing the dining experience, yet occasional lapses in attentiveness have been noted. Regardless, myriads of guests appreciate the serene atmosphere and delectable offerings, making Izanami a must-visit destination for those seeking a unique dining adventure.
Shout out to Ava and Lavina! Took great care of my family and me! So grateful for their excellent service and attitude. Get the ribs!
Decided to give Izanami another chance after a sub par experience last time. They delivered. Service was fantastic. Food was delicious, and the sake was perfect. Glad to learn our previous experience was a one off.
Izanami never disappoints! The service is always excellent-polite, efficient, knowledgeable, but, not intrusive. And the food-ahhh. Delicious, inventive combination of flavors. Thank you chef. We ALWAYS have fun when we go-with such beautiful ambiance on the outdoor patio, the food, staff, etc. Try some gyukoro tea.
We love Izanami eat there often. We adore it for both lunch dinner. Food is great the service is usually very good
A traditional Japanese cuisine restaurant. The food is fine but not extraordinary. The octopus and the cod were perfectly cooked but the fingering potatoes were over cooked. The “rice balls” were dry because it made way in advance and did not have much crab favor. The corn fritter was ok. The peach pavlovas tasted raspberry more than peach.
