This is a solid diner/brewery/bar located near central Santa Fe. It's a bit on the pricey side, likely due to its location. It's situated on the second floor. I ordered a nice craft beer and shared a green chile stew with my wife, but we both found it rather disappointing—it was too thick and lacked flavor. We also had a standard salad, which was nothing special. The service was friendly. Overall, I would give it a s... View all feedback.
What Robin Fay doesn't like about Blue Corn Cafe:
Good hearty food and decent prices. Enjoyed the Blue Corn Skinny marguerita (traditional style, no added sugar). Meal was the Combo Number 4, beef taco, beef enchilada and pork tamales. Tasty enough, but a bit heavy on beef. Service was solid and friendly. Up stairs so not sure about ADA access. Nice views of the street if you get a window seat. View all feedback.
First taste of New Mexican food. We had blue corn tacos and cheese enchiladas. Both were amazing. Much more 'firm ' (if that makes sense) that the standard slimy Tex-Mex. Red and green salsas were delicious. Pinto beans were much closer to beans than the cooked-to-death San Antonio style. And the bourbon barrel aged stout is amazing.
Had lunch at this place on my last day in Santa Fe. It's well located and has ample seating. There are a few vegetarian options. The food and service was decent.

The pinto beans are excellent here. Just the right amount of spice and a break from the every day black beans. Blue Corn Tacos were really good with the shredded chicken and not too over filling. It as a perfect portion. The Indian fried taco was huge but if it was meant to be crispy it wasn't. It tastes under cooked and when you put toppings on it it just got soggy. Did not taste very good, like uncooked dough.
This is a decent diner/brewery/bar near the center Santa Fe. Small price (because of location). On the second floor. A beautiful craft beer ordered. And shared the green Chilean stew with my wife, who none of us especially enjoyed (was much too thick, not very tasty). And a salad that was a standard salad. Friendly service. Easy to recommend.
