What Namjun Kim doesn't like about Tycoon:
First time visiting, ordered the boat noodle. Food was great but the service received from the waitress was subpar at best. Barely wiped the table, no water, and only came after about 20 min or so in not terribly busy setting. Would absolutely understanding if they're new to serving but she was addressing all the side requests from customers who spoke language she understood. If you cant handle, hire someone or more... Great atmosphere inside. If you know anything about the tenderloin, getting to the actual restaurant might be somewhat of an adventure but the actual atmosphere inside is super nice and would definitely recommend sitting down if you are around the area. read moreThis restaurant has received quite a mix of reviews. Some customers found the food to be excellent, with dishes like boat noodles and Thai tea standing out as favorites. The service, while friendly, was lacking in some instances with slow response times and subpar interactions. The atmosphere inside the restaurant received praise, with one reviewer recommending the fried rice and BBQ pork as must-try items. Prices were considered reasonable, especially for the Bay Area. Overall, the consensus seems to be that while this restaurant has some standout dishes and great potential, there are areas that could use improvement to keep up with the competition.
