Super friendly owner, great service but the food was actually incredible. Some of the best falafel I’ve ever had and the chicken shawarma plate was amazing. Felt very homestyle and will be back when I’m in San Francisco again.

I wanted it to be great but did not deliver.We almost got up and left due to the prices but decided to share the grilled eggplant/falafel/salad appetizer. This was $18.Things that were good grilled eggplant- the quirky well-meaning staff- pita breadThings that were mediocre hummus- falafel (some were mostly just fried crust, others mushy in the middle)Things that were bad baba ganoush- prices 25 for one skewer, $32 for two!!!!! Even for SF prices, this is totally bonkers)
