Service was quick and I appreciated having a curated menu versus pages and pages of options. Michael is a delight as well and you can tell he has a passion for cooking and making people feel welcome at his restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is nothing short of spectacular—authentic Italian dishes that are packed with flavor and made with care. I highly recommend trying the Polenta with Cheese and Sauce—it's deliciously comforting! The Chicken Marsala is also outstanding, hands down the best I've had, even compared to dishes in Italy. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall experience. Whether you're in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Rocco’s Cafe never disappoints. Definitely worth a visit if you're in San Francisco! The chicken was perfectly cooked—moist and juicy—with plenty of delicious sauce to enjoy with the sourdough bread. My dining companions had the Chicken Saltimbocca and a fettuccine dish with mussels, scallops, and shrimp, both of which were also fantastic. We even took two Chicken Marsalas to go because it was that good! The ambiance is so inviting—like being in your grandmother's home. With family photos on the walls and warm yellow lamps, it creates a cozy atmosphere. You definitely need to visit Rocco's; you won't regret it!
