Breakfast choices are buffet or menu - we ordered off the menu. Healthy choices are noted on the menu and I had the avocado and poached egg on toast. The entree was delivered within 20 minutes and was served hot. The menu prices are commensurate with a Waldorf Astoria but a bit pricey for the Orlando area.

However, please note that as policy they do not accept reservations - even if you're booking through OpenTable! Seating is based on a first come, first seated basis. Be aware that they will accept an online reservation, with no intention of honoring it if seating is full.

Oscar's at the Waldorf sounded like what we wanted and off we went. Although I'm not a lover of buffets, this one looked amazing, with more variety than usual, including a smoked salmon bar, prosciutto bar and honey dripping from a honeycomb! There were a lot of family's with kids, so it was a bit noisy, but that didn't really detract...everything the group of 4 tried, we loved. Only 2 things that were a little strange were that the cost of the buffet only included Mimosas, not **** Marys and there were no Eggs Benedict on the buffet??What impressed me most though was the commitment to making the customer happy. When I got to the salmon bar, it was empty, although two staff members I asked told me it would be restocked. When I mentioned it to our waiter, he came back and said they'd run out, which was disappointing. The manager came over an apologized, said they'd even sent over to the next door Hikton but they were out til Monday...not what I wanted to hear. 15 minutes later the manager appeared with a plate heaped with the best smoked salmon I've had in a long time....THAT is service.

The food was good. everything else was WAY WEIRD. there were no coffee cups. there was a swarm of weird bugs in the air by the door. the lady next to our table... read more The food was good. everything else was WAY WEIRD. there were no coffee cups. there was a swarm of weird bugs in the air by the door. the lady next to our table straight up didn’t get her food, even though her baby and husband did. it was hella dark.like i’m a youngish woman and i could not see the menu. the bathroom was super wet. it was water, but still. last butcertainly not least. our waiter had a rat tail that was braided, and the baffled if pleasant expression of someone who has noidea where he is. so. you be the judge. as i said. food was fine.
