Some customers felt rushed by the staff and were disappointed with the flavors and tenderness of the dishes. Others praised the cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and recommended dishes such as the braised duck and seared salmon. Despite some negative experiences, many patrons enjoyed the unique decor and personalized service at this small restaurant. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential but may need to address consistency in service and quality.
Bite is one of our favorite restaurants in South Town. It's very small, just 10 or 12 tables, but that's part of what makes it so appealing. The decor is very unique and everyone gets plenty of (but not too much) attention from not only the food servers but also from the owner and the bartender. They are all eager to answer questions about the menu items and anything else, which makes for a very personalized dining experience. I love the seared salmon dish, my husband loves the duck confit dish, and we both love the appetizers and cocktails. The menu is small but this doesn't detract. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a unique and delicious South Town dining experience.
This place blew away my foodie international son so keep it up Love love love staff creativity drinks food and local spot can't ask for a better spot is south town
Bad first impression, as they appear to not get Open Table reservations often. Took a few moments to find our reservation. We sat down to a dusty table. Ordered Escargot and beef tartar. Both were okay, but not very special. We next had dinner, two braised duck legs.... amazing menu item.
Interesting atmosphere, seemed a little dirty. Food was great service was awkward but good.
Great food, service, great evening! Leg of lamb was delicious.
