What ROSE MARY DA ROSA ALVES doesn't like about Big Lantern:
Good service but ok food. The sizzling rice soup had vegetables that were way too chunky and tasted raw because they were so big, the broth was tasty though. The shrimp dumpings were very bland and they didn't offer any dipping sauces to go with it. View all feedback.
One of the best vegan Chinese places I eat in San Francisco would definitely recommend. We ordered delivery that arrived in time. I was tired after a long flight so the opportunity to dinate in the Air bnb was much appreciated. The orange vegan chicken was super delicious and the tofu king Poa was also great! The veggie chow mien left something to wish because it was a little dry, but mixed with other dishes it worked!
I guess there are vegan options in Big Lantern but the quality was just not there during my visit. The food was edible, but nothing inspired me to go back at any point. 2.5 stars. See attached pictures.
Excellent, as a reformed carnivore I would never have thought that I had such a chicken again, delicious
If there were 5 stars, they would have been allowed to get non-veg restaurants. I ordered the vegetarian dim sum as my duck and it was a lot of food for a reasonable price $15). Everything was delicious! dumplings and rolls were super aromatic, as well as the faux-chicken bowl. I would also order the sesame balls for dessert - they are like deep fried, Reisteig Donut filled with delicious bean paste

We had not eaten Dim Sum for over 10 years but finally we can! The other vegan dishes are good and typically very oily, but you have to come here for your once-in-awhile treat!
