Despite some issues with timing and seating, the food received rave reviews, especially dishes like the beef dumplings and croquettes. The outdoor seating area was particularly popular for its Mediterranean feel and pleasant atmosphere. While some felt the dishes had too much tomato, others appreciated the unique flavors. There's something about Barcha that is magical. The food is tasty but not perfect. The atmosphere is great but not perfect. Outdoor seating is great but not perfect. And the price, although bearable but not cheap. However when everything is combined somehow they all add to each other rather than being the lowest common denominator. All in all, it is a fabulous happy hour, drinks and food experience. Given the locatio... View all feedback.
What Amy Dahlberg dislikes about Barcha:
Came here on Valentine’s Day and was very underwhelmed. It took them a little over 2 hours to get through their 3 corse dinner, and it seemed we could not get service at all. The food was decent, but nothing I would particularly seek out. Especially due to the fact I waisted my valentines evening waiting for our food to come out. Overall, very disappointed. I thought they would have wanted to do better on a valentine... View all feedback.
The food was very good although the service was really slow. I will return to this restaurant again.
This is a great Mediterranean spot in the heart of the city. Went here for lunch with work colleagues and their pita bread with hummus and crispy falafel were delicious!! I also had their falafel sandwich which was delicious and cooked very well. I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of options. The ambiance and service is impeccable and will definitely be back in the future.
Too much tomato! Take it the way you want, because one of us liked it for that fact while I wanted tomato not to be that prominent!Vegetarian options: Ask for it and they can sub meat for vegetarian options!
