Thoroughly enjoyable dinner for 4. Inside can get a bit on the loud side; however, we had a great table outside so noise level was certainly tolerable. Food is wonderful and the service was just right. Menu is classic Little Italy Italian. Great evening out with friends. View all feedback.
What Gerronimo dislikes about Barbusa:
We have been regular customers for about three years. The service at the place is pitiful. We were getting ready to leave after 10 minutes of no server. That should have been a clue. We shared a few dishes but no extra plates for sharing. Had to remind our server that salads come before entrees. He forgot our salad. Had to ask for parmigiana twice. Had to ask for drink refills. Well let's just say that a doughy, cold, focaccia, even if complementary, is not a great intro to one of the higher rated Italian places in Little Italy.
Overall: Rounding up to 5 stars Excellent lunch but a little pricey. Food: 5 stars I started with the Fiori Di Zucca, which was outstanding.
