What Gerronimo dislikes about Barbusa:
We have been regular customers for about three years. The service at the place is pitiful. We were getting ready to leave after 10 minutes of no server. That should have been a clue. We shared a few dishes but no extra plates for sharing. Had to remind our server that salads come before entrees. He forgot our salad. Had to ask for parmigiana twice. Had to ask for drink refills. Came here at the request of our daughter for her 11th birthday with friends and it was amazing! We booked on open table and put very specific requests in the notes for two separate tables and they were able to accommodate perfectly. Our server, Armel (I am probably butchering the spelling of his name, l'm so sorry! could be the sole reason that we are giving 5 stars. Talk about excellent service, so friendly, and so happy to accommodate any of our needs or requests. He is a top tier restaurant industry professional and amazing at customer service. Thank you armel for everything!! Now the food we got the barbusa board which is always a good choice, pricey! But worth it. We also ordered the dolci pizza which was ok but we likely will opt for another pizza next time. We also ordered regular spaghetti and meatballs for the kids and they made a fettuccine Alfredo happen for us as well. The mocktails were amazing!! Kids had a great time and so did my husband and I. We will definitely be back for a date night just us two!
