We arrived on a windy Saturday for lunch and decided to sit upstairs and were guided to a cosy room with three tables. Our food waiter was friendly and helpful and we soon had ordered and were served with a jug of iced water with lemon and fresh mint. A great start. The wine list is limited but has good options and our knowledgeable waiter brought an Italian red from Montepulciano which was perfect. For starters the octopus done two ways with artichoke was fabulous. For mains my wife tried the tagliatelle with crab which was delicious and I had the special of swordfish which was cooked to perfection. I could not go past the chocolate brownie which was on steroids and one I would choose again. The sticky date pudding was also well received. Our wine waiter tempted us with dessert wines which made for the perfect finish to what was an outstanding dining experience. Congratulations to the whole team and we will return!

I think with the beautiful local fresh produce things could taste a lot better . I'm not sure on the chef it just didn't have that much flavour or pizazz as I would have hoped. I hope that the food can improve lovely location and good service.

Brilliant atmosphere, will be back.
