This is typical of your average 'country' sort of pub, nothing outlandish, the setting is nice and relaxed and the food is great with quite a variety to suit everyone's tastes. It can get very busy especially on a Sunday afternoon, as it can be a popular hang out for motorbike riders heading out for a cruise on a nice sunny day. Definitely check it out if you are heading through Samford. View all feedback.

Arrived and went to order a Pizza for me and 2 children at 11.50am. Three rude young girls told me Lunch does not start til 12noon. I said ok, I'll have a Hawian Pizza. They still would not take my order until 12noon. I should of walked out of the place then. but since they are the 3 food establishments in Samford that are licence I stayed. So had to go up again and order at 12noon. $20 for a Pizza OMG, I must be mad... View all feedback.
The pub has a charming interior and offers a variety of seating options. The meals were pricey considering their portion sizes. The Chicken Parma, priced at over $26, was disappointing as it turned out to be processed chicken meat instead of real chicken. However, the chips were good.
The food was amazing so fresh and huge porpotions at a great price Definitely book ahead of you are going there on a Sat/Sun
The answer is YES. We've been coming here a long time the meals have been good quality very consistent. Tonight we came noticed a menu change. Turns out apparently there's a new chef. A couple of old favorites were now gone, like the beef ckeeks. We tried a few new specials. Fish of the day was Atlantic salmon. The flavours were nice but the fish was under cooked in the middle. My wife son had the sirloin reef beef. They ordered medium rare. The cuts were cooked close to rare of average quality. Lots of gristle sinew chewey. They left most of the steak on their plates. Hopefully these are just teething problems. Well give it one more go, but if the quality isn't there we won't be back
We took our family from abroad out for dinner and wanted to try a local restaurant. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the food. The beef in my Thai beef salad was tough and overcooked, and the salad lacked flavor. The salad on the chicken parmigiana was limp and seemed to be leftover from the day before. We have decided not to give this place another try, as we feel we wasted our money and will not be returning.
The staff at the restaurant were friendly, but unfortunately, the food was of low quality and overpriced for pub fare. The salads were wilted and discolored, while the beef was extremely tough and priced at $26 for a salad. After experiencing multiple disappointing meals, I have decided to no longer dine at this establishment.
