What Sid Wilderman likes about Restaurant Luau:
My wife and I ate last night at this restaurant. We had 1 hot and sour soup and 1 chinese vegetable soup, the two were thick lots of veggies and delicious, the best we've had in a long time. The interior of the restaurant is the classic 1960s, which we visited the restaurant many times before, but nothing has been changed or renovated! The place looks tired and was very cold! The young server placed a room heating next to our table, but...it didn't help much. We ordered the King Pao Chicken, which was overcooked and very dry! read moreA recent visit to a Chinese restaurant in Ste Adele provided a range of experiences for diners. Some found the food disappointing in terms of flavor and portion size, feeling it didn't live up to expectations set by other Chinese restaurants in larger cities. Others found the food to be satisfying, with notable dishes like hot and sour soup, egg rolls, and shrimp dishes being highlights of the meal. The atmosphere was noted to be intimate, with friendly service and a commitment to a Luau theme that added a unique touch. For those who prefer Chinese food without MSG, it was advised to specify this preference when ordering. Overall, the restaurant received mixed reviews but seemed to provide a decent dining experience for those looking for Chinese cuisine in the area.
