I have been to this location several times. Service is normally good but when they get busy staff seems to get overwhelmed and a bit disorganized. The pizza is decent but not my favorite, some of the toppings they offer are different and quite good ifyou're looking for a change. I thought the prices were fine. They focus on craft beers (which I don't generally care for) butthey do have some selections I like in bottle or can. I'm sure I will be visiting again as it is very close to where I live andwork. First visit since covid, pizza was really good as was the service. Always seem to have new servers last several visits
Came here with a few friends and the pizzas we had were extremely good! The staff was very friendly and the service was amazing! One of the best pizza places I’ve ever been to. Would love to return soon!
The pizza at Otto was absolutely incredible, as you can see from the picture. I ordered the 4 cheese pizza with added tomato and extra roasted garlic—the roasted garlic quickly became my favorite part. I arrived just as it was ready, which is a good thing since Otto doesn’t have a warming system; finished pizzas are simply stacked on an open wire shelf with the rest. I also ordered three sides of ranch, which were placed on top of the box when it was handed to me, but no warning was given. It wasn’t until I got to my car and set the pizza on a slightly tilted seat that I saw the ranch lids were too large and just sitting loosely on the containers. The dressing spilled everywhere, seeping through every tiny hole in the vented seats. I understand mistakes happen—wrong size lids—but customers should be warned, or better yet, the lids taped shut! Considering I paid nearly $25 for a small pizza plus tip, that level of service is expected. What happened completely ruined my dinner (though I did eventually eat that beautiful pizza, it had gone cold during cleanup) and now I’ll need a car detailing since I don’t have the right tools to clean the mess. Accidents are understandable, and I’ve tried a few Otto locations and plan to try more. I encourage you to check out their menu and do the same. This Saco, ME location was packed even on a Monday night, which speaks volumes. Happy eating!
I'm not a huge fan of flatbread, which is essentially the style of pizza they serve here, so your experience may vary. They seem to seat customers without considering how many staff members are available, so be prepared to wait. The Good: I was seated fairly quickly, and the food arrived promptly after ordering. The beer selection was decent, and there are vegan options available! The Meh: I'm not the biggest fan of flatbread pizza, and I’ve had better pizzas overall. The red sauce was applied unevenly (see photo), which made some bites taste good while others were just okay. The Bad: The staff were friendly but noticeably understaffed. After my meal arrived, I didn’t see a server for over half an hour, during which time I was left with empty beer and water glasses. Just because you get seated quickly doesn’t guarantee timely service.
