If you want good quality, freshly prepared, home cooked food then give this place a try but if your preference is for cheap food, frozen chips and piled high plates then try elsewhere.

Very friendly staff, decor gorgeous, friendly locals (i like to caht) dogs welcome in certain areas bonus. Limited menu but was assured it was cooked fresh which we prefer. Would liked to have seen a freshly cooked childrens menu though because there was no childrens menu at all. My 2 children will eat freshly cooked food and with a little imagination can be done for children, does not need to be too fancy but also does not need to be frozen rubbish. Ambience was lovely. My husband ordered the beer battered fish, chunky chips and mushy peas- he enjoyed this (shared with our 8yr old daughter) My son ordered the small beer battered fish and chunky chips. I ordered the mushroom risotto, as i am vegetarian (no other choice for a veggie) it was very tasty, we ordered extra vegetables which were very good. In all a lovely meal. Just the above grumble about no childrens fresh cooked food menu and the lack vegetarian options.
