The hospitality is s... read more We stayed 3 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and picked the perfect location. The rooms are perfect, clean and comfortable. The hospitality is second to none, we were made to feel very welcome. Afternoon tea is absolutely gorgeous and the lonuge extremely comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and a good selection of options. Gardens are lovely and well looked after. I can very highly recommend Lastingham Grange and we will definitely be returning.

It was busy but spacing was good, hygiene was e... read more Called in on spec on a hot day for a light mid week lunch and were thrilled to find what a superb place this is. It was busy but spacing was good, hygiene was efficient. We were given such a warm and highly professional welcome by the two brothers who own and run it. They apologised we may have to wait (no problem for us the surroundings are gorgeous) but meanwhile brought us a large carafe of iced water and dealt with our drinks order. Then the menu! A treat! Fabulous fresh, beautifully prepared and presented delicious food with excellent service. My beef sandwich was the best ever! Diddy pots of homemade chutney and mayonnaise were a delight. Coffee was superb. Thank you for a great experience. Cannot recommend it highly enough. We will be booking a couple of nights with you for R&R before too long.
