Been a while since our last visit due to Covid, it was just lovely to visit again and the Steak Pie and Fish and Chips went down a treat, with the Crumble and Sticky Toffee Pudding. The pub has been sold on from Pete the landlord to the chef, but Pete was still working behind the bar. I love this pub and the little village of Lastingham, will be back soon. Keep up the great work, was pleased to see you so busy , View all feedback.

Lovely little pub . In the Yorkshire moors. Opposite a lovely very old one of the oldest in fact churches in the country. Sat outside the pub and the sheep go ambling by. Bedroom nicely done really nicely. big bath. Food was really good . Comfortable bed. There was quite a bit of noise from the bar early doors. But I was warned about that but sadly last room so hay ho. Staff friendly. Breakfast nice.
Lovely place to stay . Wonderful food. Really enjoyed it. It was extremely busy on the nighttime. Friendly staff. And later on when people eating had gone it was a locals pub. Room was lovely and bed comfy. I know they said about it been above the bar and it was a bit noisier than I expected but didn’t spoil it. It got less noisier as it got later. Nice breakfast also.
What a great pub/restaurant. Sunday lunch with friends. Definitely be back soon. Would recommend a visit. Staff could not be bettered.
We had a wonderful meal here today. The food was great and very good value. The setting was lovely too
A gorgeous country pub! Beautiful decor, delicious food and the garden area is amazing in spring/summer. If you're visiting North Yorkshire the Blacksmith Arms is one to add to your list, highly recommend!
