Rye Pizza Restaurant

I have been coming to Rye Pizza Restaurant for some time, when it was sold and taken over by new owners I was concerned that the menu would change. To my delight the menu wasn't changed but the restaurant decor was. It is much brighter now with a real buzzy feel. Staff (some who stayed from previous owners) are very attentive and friendly. If you are looking for great pizzas and italian food this is the place in Rye to come to.

Had dinner there Friday night the new owners two young sisters have given the place a great feel vibe and food ... Pizzas were spot on gnocchi according to my girls amazing light and fluffy calamari tasty and fresh .. Can't wait to see this place evolve !! Great work ladies

Set behind this nondescript family style Italian restaurant lies good old fashioned tasty food with really friendly customer service. Sometimes it is just nice to go to a place where it knows it's market, it doesn't try to be something that it's not and definitely doesn't under deliver in taste. The serves are very generous, so come with an appetite, eat a main or an entree with an entree size main as portion size is everything here! Pizzas are delicious and the gnocchi is melt in the mouth soft with a hearty sauce to boot! Ideal for families or just a night out where you want to dress in a relaxed way and eat well.

We have been fortunate to eat here several times while visiting Melbourne. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance and excellent service. The staff are very friendly, and familiar with each of the meals on the menu and well informed regarding the daily specials. Being extremely partial to a good pizza I must say these are excellent! Lovely thin, crunchy base, lots of filling- spread right to the edge and consistently great taste sensations. My companions sampled the steak, several of the Italian dishes which I was informed were all cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Being seriously allergic to seafood I was extremely impressed with the lengths the kitchen went to to ensure that my meals were prepared and cooked completely separately to any containing seafood. The owners and staff create a great relaxed environment for a lovely evening out.

What a fantastic family restaurant.We have been here several times now and every time is memorable.The food is great and very cheap the staff are lovely and friendly and the other patrons are always friendly.Make sure you come here for some old fashion charm and warmth.Excellent
