Maggie's Cafe is the type of establishment I would expect to find in a quaint, touristy town. They offer a nice variety of food options for dining in or taking away.
I will be honest, I know the owners of Maggie's cafe but I can assure you that I am not biased when I say that the coffee is always great and the food is made with care.
The food and service at this restaurant are excellent. I had breakfast and it was delicious. I found this place based on a recommendation from Yelp and once again, it was spot on.
We called in yesterday and bought 2 schnitzel burgers, a burger and 3 soft drinks ( total $45). The burger was average, but the schnitzel burgers were dry, very small schnitzels and I suspect frozen packet ones.We were hungry and ate half then threw them away. In a burger cafe chicken should be freshly made and juicy. The staff can hardly crack a smile either.
Thought nearly $12 for a sandwich and coffee was a tad expensive considering it is a cash only establishment. Made worse by the very casual service. Wasn't rude but gave off the vibes just couldn't really care less. Maybe just suffered from the let's screw as much as we can out of the tourist syndrome. Maybe I should have just walked further up the street.
