Finch's - Rutherford
Finch's
Description
Finch's, nestled within a hotel, offers a modern upscale dining experience characterized by a farm-to-table approach. While many patrons enjoy its generous portions and attentive service, including standout dishes like the blackened salmon and exceptional cheeseburgers, consistency seems to vary. Some guests have experienced less favorable meals, with issues like overcooked meat and slow service on busy nights. Despite this, the ambiance remains inviting, making it a suitable spot for breakfast or dinner. Overall, Finch's garners a mix of praise and critique, encapsulating the unpredictability of dining out.

This may be some of the worst food I've ever had. The seared ahi was old and rubbery, and the Margherita pizza tasted like a frozen Totino's. Meanwhile, the steak was tough, poorly cooked, and served lukewarm. I will definitely avoid this place in the future.
Restaurant inside the Hotel so on slow nights it bar only seating. The bartender was a bit frazzled managing the number of guests on the Tuesday night I was in. I had the salmon and it was delicious.
Service was good but when I stayed there back in November, they were short staffed so the waiting can be a little longer. But overall was great. Generous portions. I really enjoyed their bang bang shrimps and died calamaris.
I was charged $4.00 for a glass of water, and the service was terrible. This place used to be great, but it's really gone downhill.
