Haven't been to the Risotto in years, that was our biggest mistake. Revisited Saturday night and to our delight it was fantastic. The food was good. But unpredictable is a waitress in an Italian restaurant that has not only abused Bruschetta but corrected me because she is so confident in her misunderstanding. View all feedback.
I only had her early bird special and everything was delicious!! Portion sizes were generous, the service was excellent and there were so many food choices! Even the coffee was good! I recommend this restaurant 100% and I come back! Thank you.
I'm not a Risotto expert, but I don't know how many Risotto-specific restaurants there are. However, Risotto House in Rutherford is a must for those who enjoy a Risotto court. I must say that the beginning of my experience was careful because I was not very well welcomed. When I waited to sit, nobody came to me. Then when I asked for a table, the waiter looks at the clock based on the ~1 hr. Time to close. It was not very welcoming to close regardless of the short time. But that was a little corrected with average waiter service after I set myself. I ordered the Risotto con rigola, radicchio gambieri and I must say that I was surprised how good this dish was. The inclusion of the Radicchio complemented this court enormously. It gives every bite a delicious crispy and earthy taste. As usual, the risotto was very creamy and the shrimps added a good buttery seafood flavor to the dish. I'm pretty interested in how good their other Risotto dishes must be. The interior is what you would usually find in an Italian restaurant. It has a good, chic decor good for a casual or date night. The parking lot is rich in parking at the park Ave.
Wasn't in the Risotto for years, that was our biggest mistake. Revisited Saturday evening and for our pleasure it was fantastic. Rice balls as an app were the best we have ever tried, filled pork buckle, or should I say pork laces on the bone in a Marsala sauce were out when this world, the Rigatoni Bolognese with peas and mushrooms in a creamy red sauce was an extraordinary experience. Unfortunately after the bread, apps and dinner, not to mention a bottle of wine, we simply couldn't make dessert. Next time.
Came into the Risotto house with my friends living in the city. Usually we go to Paisanos, which is the block, but it was closed (Sunday). I'm so glad it was and we found this jewel! we have outdoor food because of COVID and the service and the food was so great and it is BYOB. The seafood salad and the Fried Calamari were fantastic appetizers. For my entree I shared the Chicken Milanese Special with Spinat in VODKA SAUCE!!!!! my husband got the lamb, which was so delicate and tasteful and my friend got the five cheese risotto, that was super!!! Everything was not too expensive and very tasty. Thank you house for the wonderful experience.
