I try to eat as often as possible here. It's not just one of the best restaurants in the north of Louisiana, it's better than any sushi restaurant where I was in the country. I had sushi in a very nice restaurant in Hawaii and the best I could find in several major cities that RAW could not touch. View all feedback.

Must be the best sushi bar in the states. I can't remember eating something better. A must on everyone's list.

I would hardly call myself a seasoned traveler, but I will call myself someone who is guaranteed to always visit a sushi place when traveling. I am from Ruston, and well, I can proudly say that the best sushi of my life comes from RAW. My normal go to is the rainbow roll, but here lately all I want is the Inside Out roll, which is legit phenomenal. Additionally, you can never go wrong with the Chef 's Special. Right now, RAW is only a to go order spot, and I pray for the day the owners decide to reopen. It is such an iconic important part of our Downtown, which is loved by many. Do yourself a favor order even if your dine in experience is at home or in the park!
I frequently travel to Ruston for work and haven't discovered a better restaurant. It truly stands out as the best. I just wish I could have enjoyed my meal there in person.
I absolutely love this place! The sushi is not only delicious and high quality, but also reasonably priced. Just a heads-up, it's PICKUP ONLY, and it seems like they have no plans to reintroduce dine-in service. I personally enjoy taking my food home, so it works for me. The fashion roll has become my go-to, and I highly recommend the 911, Big Easy, Tech, inside out, and shrimp tempura rolls—they're all fantastic. The double salmon rolled appetizer is heavenly and can easily serve as a main dish due to its size and quality! I'm so glad this place is in our small town.
