I ordered the vegetarian lasagna which was delicious, and my husband had a steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. The menu had a good variety of options. Both dishes were beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The ambiance was inviting and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening and delicious food.

We had a reservation but were offered different seating when we arrived, which was great. The staff gave us a lovely warm welcome and the service throughout our meal was excellent. We each had a starter and a main course, and we were both very impressed with the presentation and taste of the dishes. The menu had a great variety to suit all tastes, the restaurant was very clean, and had a fantastic atmosphere. This was probably the best meal we've had at a pub in the past 6-12 months. To top it all off, the cost was much lower than we had expected. I will definitely be returning soon and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

There was a particularly noisy table in the corner who were shouting and basically making it impossible for any other diners to enjoy their meal or speak. You couldn’t hear what anyone was saying or even the waitresses when they came with your meal. Staff would have been aware but did nothing to ask the table to be a little quieter so others could enjoy their meal. At the end of the day the food isn’t cheap but you don’t mind paying for good food but I object to having to rush to get out of the venue because you can’t hear yourself think. It completely ruined what should have been a lovely family meal, Staff should have done more to intervene.

It was a very busy December Christmas evening, so noisy, but the food, wine and company were all excellent and great value. My elderly father wandered off (as he does) and found some very friendly diners to chat with. We’ll definitely return next time we’re visiting family in Edwalton.
