Our group of 8, including 2 children, were all very pleased with our meals. They were especially accommodating with the children, bringing their meals out with our appetizers, which made dining much easier for everyone.

The landlady has a strong and proactive personality that I really enjoyed, as she clearly has a passion for her pub and her work. She works very hard to create a beautiful environment. The food selection was excellent and our meal was delicious. My roast beef was cooked perfectly with tasty gravy, a large Yorkshire pudding, and perfectly cooked vegetables. The carrot soup was fantastic, as was the apple crumble pudding. I would definitely visit again and based on today's experience, I would give the restaurant a full five stars.

Although we did not dine there, the menu looked appealing and many dishes were being carried out of the kitchen.

I ordered the vegetarian lasagna which was delicious, and my husband had a steak which he thoroughly enjoyed. The menu had a good variety of options. Both dishes were beautifully presented and reasonably priced. The ambiance was inviting and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful evening and delicious food.
