My dad is... read more The Rancliffe Arms is simply the best pub for miles and miles. The food is delicious and beautiful. The menu more than enough variety to choose from. My dad is a carnivore and I’m vegetarian and the staff and chef couldn’t have been more helpful ax we ordered. The wine is lovely too and dad enjoyed the beer/shandy. I don’t bother writing reviews but this pub is so gorgeous I had to write and no!, I’m not related to anyone to do with pub. It’s just lovely.

We... read more It's been a while since we visited and we were a little disappointed. On a positive the staff were friendly and polite. Unfortunately the place seems tired. We were served tea in a chipped cup. The sofa we sat on was ripped and worn. The curtains were coming apart and there was mold on the wallpaper. £4 for a few chips did seem a bit much.

Every single item on our plate was beautiful. It was very relaxed where we were sat. Waiting staff were lovely, Would sefinately recommend and would definitely visit again.
