After looking at a few possibilities,... read more We were in Rouen for a few days on our French trip and thought it nicer to have breakfast somewhere other than our hotel. After looking at a few possibilities, we settled on Le Central and were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great, just what we wanted, an omelette, croissant, great coffee, fruit and orange juice at very reasonable prices. My wife had tea and enjoyed real tea leaves, rather than the near ubiquitous tea bag. As the name suggests, the cafe is centrally placed. Great food, attentive staff and good value.

Went via Rouen to show a frien the lovely buildings Anyway not much open but came across this place and it was excellent. Friendly and welcoming staff, couldn't do enough as one of the group coeliac They offer several options for breakfast and at 6 to 9 euros it's quality at a value price. Try the Ham & cheese omelet it's delicious, they also have a Facebook page.

We had lunch here while visiting Rouen in early July.There is both indoor and outdoor dining, but on a nice day you’ll want to sit outside. They have the menu on a chalkboard. The service is friendly and the food was pretty good. The people watching is pretty good, too.Le Central is a good place to catch lunch if you are shopping or visiting in Rouen.
