What Rupert Wisoky doesn't like about Hotel Rottnest:
The menu looked good and the food looked appealing when it arrived. But that was the end of the positive dining experience. What was amazing was how uniformly tasteless all the meals were. The Roasted Cauliflower was only vaguely roasted and was raw in...the middle. It's amazing what you can get away with when you don't have to rely on repeat customers. View all feedback. What Clemens Wisozk likes about Hotel Rottnest:
We had the squid ink risotto, fish and chips, and the specials, which was scallops with pumpkin pure. We also ordered pizza. The risotto and the scallops were to die for. It certainly the best risotto we had ever tried. The pizza was average at best. The scallops was good too, except that it came with some very tough and chewy bacon looked alike. Definitely would come back for the seafood. View all feedback.

read moreThe Rottnest Hotel offers a mixed dining experience for visitors to the island paradise. While the menu and food presentation showed promise, the actual taste and execution of dishes were lacking for some patrons. The service during peak times such as Christmas was strained, leading to frustration among customers. However, there were standout dishes like the squid ink risotto and scallops that impressed diners. The hotel's location was praised for its stunning views and recent modernization. Overall, while there were some disappointments, the Rottnest Hotel still has potential as a dining destination in Western Australia.
