Disappointing to see this place go downhill. Used to be one of the best coffee place s in Freo. Took the family out for a coffee and cake then saw the prices of the cake and serving sizes and decided just hot drinks instead. Was...charged an extra dollar per takeaway cup as they want to protect the environment. Cmon, 50cents fair enough like other places but not $1. And where does this extra profit go? Does Moore and Moore actually donate to a foundation or is it just bonus money for the owners? I should’ve walked away but decided to order. Waited at the tables at the front. Half an hour went by. Had to tell the owner who was cleaning tables at the front this wasn’t good enough. Two minutes later coffee arrived which tasted less than average. Hot chocolate for the kids didn’t even come with a marshmallow like other places do. Sorry Moore and Moore, but I won’t be back again. I really do hate that feeling of going somewhere and feeling ripped off.
Used to like it, but I think they've changed management. Worst coffees ever and croissants were burnt! We won't be going back. It's a shame, we used to love it.
This is quite a tucked away cafe and we only came here for coffee and cake but the ambience, service and food do not disappoint! The coffee is perfectly brewed and creamy, just how I like it and I'll definitely come back for it. A few of my friends are gluten intolerant so it looks like they have quite a good range of cakes that catered to my friends and the honey cake (it is not gluten free) has to be my favourite! Their gluten free cakes also taste good and you won't think it is gluten free. Overall a good afternoon tea experience for sure.
Cafe is nice and kid friendly. Not many options in Fremantle for breakfast so nice they give it a go. Average food and coffee. But beggars can’t be choosers.
