Let's start with the highlights: the chef knows how to handle fish exceptionally well! This is no small feat. The fish is fresh and masterfully prepared. Unfortunately, everything else was subpar: the combinations of ingredients in the dishes were rather predictable and not particularly successful, and the flavors in the two starters I tried were disjointed. The place is average, a bit too noisy and with tables close together. The service was inadequate. It's unfortunate to criticize the helpful staff, but bringing a bottle of wine to the table already opened is unforgivable. A little instruction from the owners would be enough to avoid these lapses in style. I strongly advise the chef to increase the selection of raw fish and quick-cooked or steamed fish, where it is at its best. This will also justify the prices, which are still on the high end.
