Feedback
The food was lovely, though not cheap for what we got very little on the plate, trying to be half hearted fine dining. Not a big menu either.
Fabulous restaurant to experience great fine dining cuisine appreciate training students efforts. Only disappointment was the Rump Steak Chicken which were over cooked, little tough dry. Next time I will opt for the Grouper Fish. Looked delicious. Assiette of Seafood sensational. Complimentary starter excellent. Desserts amazing. Ask for hot coffee, ours was luke warm.

Everything was perfect, food and service was incredible. It was just exceptional the service from the people at Tafe
Surprise complementary apertiser which was a very tasty goat bruschetta. Shared entre of sustainable seafood plate again well prepared full of flavor. Mains: my wife had the grouper which she declared as simply delicious! I had the rump steak that I was advised by our waiter, “is served ‘medium’”…unfortunately the steak was stone cold when it arrived at the table as was the plate it was served on). It was definitely cooked ‘rare’ not medium. When advised of this the waiter a TAFE student in training) advised the kitchen. The manager offered a replacement steak but I declined manager insisted that she take the meal back to the kitchen for a little more time on the char grill, which I agreed to. On return the steak was more toward medium rare and this time everything including the plate was hot. Thank you to the manager, chef staff for the way in which this was handled. This “TAFE TRAINING RESTAURANT Bar” is worth trying.
