Talking Pint - Riverview
Talking Pint
Description
At this eclectic sports bar, guests experience a mixed bag of delights and disappointments. Many rave about the swift service and tasty offerings, including standout dishes like meatloaf, hummus pitas, and a variety of appetizers. However, some patrons report slow service and quality control issues, such as unappetizing food and cleanliness concerns. While the atmosphere is often welcoming, with friendly staff and accommodating vibes for pets, special events like trivia nights have been criticized as poorly organized. Overall, diners appreciate the beer selection and freshness of the menu, but caution regarding some menu items and pricing practices.

We were pleased with our meals. The service was excellent. There was plenty to eat, and the prices were fair. We do plan to return when in the area. Pork chop, mashed potatoes, and sweet potato fries. Also, chicken and biscuits.
Great service. Lots of attention from the servers and I never got to see the bottom of my glass. Abby was on her job. Food was fresh and good. Bada Boom shrimp was nice.
Caesar salad was in a hot bowl, very bland and lifeless, burgers were from frozen patties, and dry, chicken was over cooked. I do not recommend. Save your money, go somewhere else! I was in hopes that it would great , sorry… it’s just not good!
Great place to kick back and enjoy a wide variety of drink selections with a good menu of Appetizers
This was my first visit to the restaurant, and while it wasn't too busy when we arrived, the service suggested otherwise—it felt like the place was packed. We waited 40 minutes for our food and drink refills, and unfortunately, when our meals finally arrived, there was hair in mine. They kindly offered me a replacement entree and a discount. I also noticed that some staff members appeared to be socializing and drinking with guests, which struck me as quite unusual. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're just looking to hang out at the bar; the service there seemed to be faster and more efficient. Additionally, the prices for bar food without alcohol are quite steep—over $50 for just two people.
