I ordered the shrimp appetizer, and it was excellent. The steak tacos were also very good, especially with the amazing chili sauce they came with. The chicken and chorizo burger was delicious, and the fries were crispy and tasty. The beer and mixed drinks were spot on as well. The service was friendly and attentive, and the ambiance was cozy and romantic.

While it 's a beautiful place and the reviews made us very excited to dine here, it just wasn 't worth it. Our server seemed very confident at first, but once we started asking questions, her knowledge of the whiskeys you actually carried lacked. And she didn 't know how to answer our questions about the menu either. We ordered our apps, drinks and 1 single hamburger patty for the dogs. My wife 's old fashioned had toooo much luxardo juice in it that it looked like watered down cranberry juice; it 's a shame since we came specifically for the amazing old fashioned the reviews boasted about. I ordered a Jameson with a coke back... I got a coke on the rocks, ZERO Jameson. The spinach dip was okay, I had just a couple bites. Everyone else 's food was decent. I myself ordered the BBQ burger, medium rare. I got well done with a small scantly ring of BBQ sauce, so I asked for some on the side, and I was charged $3 for it. So, for the pups, we ordered the one regular sized unseasoned beef patty to give the pups while we enjoyed dinner. They came 15 mins after we got our dinner and I even had to go get up and ask for them. The server said, oh the kitchen made small ones, so I sent them back for bigger ones . But I ordered just one regular patty just to keep them. Occupied. She still pegged me with the up charge x2. I didn 't fuss, since I was celebrating my daughter 's baby announcement, and I was only in town for the night. Did I mention, after we got our apps our server said, we 're super busy so the kitchen is running entrees slowly, so it will be like 20 mins. Then walked away, we hadn 't even ordered our entrees YET! She wasn 't back for another 15 mins!!! When she brought us extra bread, she dumped in from one plate on to the plate with the other apps... why not just set the plate down. The whole night was one big Are you serious! Disappointed. The only thing enjoyable sadly was their location. Corner spot, great lighting and plenty of people watching while you wait the 20+ minutes to order food. Might I add, we were only their 3rd table sat for their dinner service that started at 4:30, and in total it took almost a full hour to get our food and drink orders fixed and never once did a manager visit us with all the issues we encountered.

Saw this restaurant a few weeks ago and it was packed, wanted to try it. They didn't open till 10 and had a private event, therefore it was bar seating only. The bar tender was polite and attentive. The French Toast was the best! Crunchy, sweet and still hot off the grill. The prices are higher but the food is great. I would go back for sure

We placed our food orders, but for some of us, the wait was unacceptably long. For instance, one of our friends was the first to order tacos but ended up being the last to receive her meal. I ordered the scallops for $35, expecting a fulfilling dish, but was disappointed to find just four small scallops and a few vegetables on a bed of sauce. While it was tasty, it certainly didn't justify the price. I was so taken aback that I didn't even think to take a photo of my plate. Additionally, I ordered a Red Bull but was never given a glass to drink from; I had to drink straight from the can. These issues were just the start of our troubles. At the end of the night, we were presented with one bill totaling over $600, which led to nearly an hour of confusion as we attempted to sort out who ordered what and who was responsible for which payment. It was a frustrating experience! There were items on the bill that we had never ordered, and some payments were mistakenly assigned to the wrong people. I don't understand the rationale behind combining the orders of nine individuals, but it was definitely a mistake. Jennifer never apologized for this unfortunate situation. To make matters worse, the manager, who was aware of our predicament, never came over to help or even acknowledge our issues. Overall, it was a disappointing way to end what had been an enjoyable night of jazz. Unfortunately, if we decide to listen to live music here again, we will be dining elsewhere and making sure to eat beforehand to avoid a repeat of this experience. In summary, the music was great, but the customer service was lacking and the prices were too high. We felt embarrassed for inviting our friends and continue to apologize for their experience.

I really want to like this place, but the slow service and inattentive waitstaff really hurt their overall rating. I've been to ProAbition many times over the years, and the food has consistently been flavorful and satisfying. The drinks, though, are pretty basic and overpriced, but you kind of expect that considering the location. Additionally, I've noticed that the decor has gone from being stylish to feeling a bit overdone. Local regulars often avoid this place, but when everything else is booked in the area, it becomes a last resort. Good luck to anyone thinking of visiting!
