After checking out their me... read more We had originally made a reservation at a different Italian restaurant for dinner, but while walking around, we stumbled upon Prima. After checking out their menu, we decided to cancel our reservation and dine here instead. We each enjoyed a main course and a bottle of wine, both of which were delicious. I ordered clams and wished there had been a bowl for the empty shells instead of placing them on the tablecloth. A finger bowl would have been useful as well. Despite these minor issues, the service was overall very good. The atmosphere was excellent and we were surprised at how busy it was for a Monday evening. The prices were reasonable and we would definitely dine here again if we visit Ripon in the future.

We have vis... read more As we grow older, it seems we have become quite predictable. We consistently choose the same restaurant in Ripon and order the same meal every time. We have visited countless times with our children and grandchildren, which has made us somewhat experts at reviewing it. The kitchen shows real skill, especially with their light tempura batter on the calamari and a pizza base that has impressive flavor - even my family members who usually don't eat the crust were impressed. You should definitely give it a try.

Perfect relaxed atmosphere, attentive staff who seem genuinely happy to be at work, the food… heaven on a plate.
