I went there last night with my mum and my son. The food was amazing as always but there was something else that made me leave this review. My son always gets the creamy kids pasta and this time it came with some parsley on top on it. He started saying mummy I don 't like it with these plants but I wouldn 't have asked for the plate to be changed for something like this (I am really not that kind of customer : A member of staff or the owner (not sure who it was, I do apologise overheard him and immediately said he will bring another plate as he knows kids don 't like parsley. I did say there is no need to do that but he did bring him another plate with no parsley. That was more than kind and the type of customer service that goes a very long way. Thank you very much! We had dinner here on a Tuesday night and it was heartening to see the restaurant quite busy. Booking is a good idea. The Italian menu at Mario's is large and generous, and the food was delicious. Cheerful, friendly staff give a genuine welcome. We hope to return to this wonderful restaurant. Lucky Ripon!
This is the second time I’ve been to Marios and again the service was excellent, the food outstanding and the atmosphere exactly as you would expect in a good Italian restaurant, busy and family orientated. Nothing was too much, the staff team are fantastic. Thankyou for a great evening! We will be back again soon.
