The food was good, as it usually is at Chipotle. But, the online pickup system is a disaster. Knowing they get busy, I made an online order for 10 meals at 10:37am, for a pickup time at 11:20am, and arrived at 11:30am. I didn't leave until 12:30pm. When Ileft, the online pickup crowd was twice as big as the stand-in-line crowd. There was no organization or direction. Namesweren't announced when a new order was set on the shelf. And for a large chunk of time they quit making online orders alltogether. Some online orders for 12:15pm we're leaving before mine and other smaller orders with an 11:45am pickup time weremade (I know this because a bunch of customers and I started talking after waiting for so long). The workers really seemed tobe doing their best, they were working as best they could, they just didn't have any leadership helping them out. I would alsolike to strongly suggest that Chipotle develops a system or app where they send you a confirmation when your online order iscomplete and ready. This would really seem to help with the chaos I saw today, and at many other Chipotle restaurants. Instead, they seem to work off a receipt system that gets allbmixed up when they get very busy. This would help customers know when foodis ready and prevent the shelf area from getting so busy with customers and food delivery people. This would also help organizefood getting made systematically that helps meet commitment times.
They prioritize online orders way too much over the people who actually come in. Manager needs an intro class on food service management. Not exaggerating the line moved at 1 person ever 4 minutes. It was very aggravating to watch them make 8,9 onlineorders in between every person in line as the picture shows. If you can't cater to your in person guests, shut the onlineorders down or minimize the amount that come in so that your staff can keep up with both. Or close your doors to in personorders. Otherwise it's very frustrating for everyone patiently waiting. Oh, and this was at 1:45pm I got my food at 2:30pm.
This location is a joke. Ordered the quesadilla on the app (says digital special only so maybe they've just never seen one? ???? . Picked it up and sadly didn't open til I got home. This is awful. $10 for this? This is not a quesadilla. This is aschool burrito served 5 days after it was made with the scraps left around.
Seriously, who the heck is in charge of managing this store?? So severely understaffed that I- a paying customer- had to look for a box of forks, open it and take them out for all the other paying customers. Whoever manages this store: have some selfrespect and get your act together. There?s trash bags on the floor, no ice on the machine, the whole place is falling apart!
The staff here are all pretty friendly, but always a long line at lunch time. They prioritize online orders first. I've seen at other Chipotles they have a separate prep table for online orders, but not here. Line is almost always to the door, so expect towait at least 30 minutes during a busy period. But workers do work their butts off to go as fast as they can.
