It 's none like any other sushi bar I 've be... read more We drive 25 miles North to Rexburg just to get our fix for the awesome sushi rolls Da Pineapple Grill has to offer. It 's none like any other sushi bar I 've been to. They have their own signature dipping sauces they add to the rolls, and it gives it that punch to the taste buds that makes you go, Woow , that was incredible. They 've broken away from the traditional soy sauce, and added their own dipping sauce flavors. The shrimp tempura is great too. Love the light crunchy batter and dipping sauce. They 've added a touch of freshly grated ginger to the sauce, and I really love the zest it adds. We don 't mind the drive. It 's worth it. Friendly people, nice atmosphere, makes you forget you 're in Idaho.

Friendly staff eager to help to make our dining experience a success. I had the grilled salmon with mango salsa, and a friend ordered the seared ahi tuna salad. We shared a lettuce wraps appetizer and coconut shrimp appetizer. Presentation was beautiful and colorful. Background island music was enjoyable. We have made it a point to try something new every time we go in. We were told new items were going to be added to already popular menu, to keep things fresh and interesting at Da Pineapple Grill. We're looking forward to that too!

Da Pineapple Grill also offers authentic and outstanding Hawaiian cuisine! While the wait for food is generally longer than at other restaurants, it's absolutely worth it for the quality of the dishes served! The staff is incredibly friendly and personable, and they have a remarkable ability to be patient! The music and decor transport me back to my time in Hawaii. It's truly a wonderful place!

However, the service leaves a lot to be desired. I've been a patron since the place opened, and over the 15 years I've been coming here, the wait times for food have always been frustratingly long. Sometimes, you'll find yourself regretting your decision halfway through as you realize you've made a big mistake, but at that point, you're too invested to turn back. So, be cautious when you visit."
