Unexpectedly amazing!! I’ve never been to the South, but if anything can live up to the label “Southern BBQ” I imagine this would have to be it. Hands down the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Edit: I’ve now been to the South and this place still holds up. So good! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 View all feedback.
What Tucker Briggs doesn't like about Blister's Bbq:
The food was alright, but we found hair throughout our food, and that doesn't help an appetite. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 View all feedback.
I used to love this place and had been a loyal customer since they first opened, but after my recent visit, I won't be going back. I ordered two bacon cheeseburgers: one with mac and cheese and mushrooms (which I paid for but didn’t receive), and the other with just fresh onions. When we got the burgers, they were so soggy that I couldn't even pick them up. The lettuce was really wilted, and there wasn’t a single mushroom on my order! The mac and cheese was overly peppery and inedible. On a positive note, the actual burger meat was good, and the criss-cross fries were enjoyable. I ordered ahead to avoid the long line of college students, but I still ended up waiting!
This is the best BBQ spot in town! The prices are reasonable, and the food is absolutely delicious. You won't be disappointed with the sides or the meat.
The flavors are incredible! As someone from Texas, I can definitely endorse this BBQ! My only issue is that the mac and cheese had more grease than an entire pizza, which was a bit off-putting. However, it still tasted fantastic!
I got the cowboy platter and paid an extra dollar for ribs only for there to be three of them, the size of my pinky finger. I could have forgiven that since it was the end of the day but they were really burned. If you have itsy bitsy ribs that are burned, it’d be more honest to just say you’re completely out instead of serving them. The rest of the food was good though.
Blisters is fantastic. while I haven't compared their pulled pork side by side with The Hickory's, both certainly represent the best BBQ food in town. What I love about Blisters is the sheer simplicity of being able to walk in, sit down, and get super good BBQ fast with extra sauce and hands readily at hand. even inside a gas station, it's got a very cool, chill vibe. top notch food and service.
