Everyone was raving about this place and how good the food is, I order a 3 meat plate and a Buffalo chicken sandwich. The meet plate and frys were good, but can't make up for the rancid chemical taste of the chicken sandwich, they put blue cheese on itand my wife who has had it before said that's not what it's supposed to taste like. It tasted like I was eating a can of ether. They were quick to respond and look in to the issue and contact the supplier about the issue. Very professional and willconsider returning.
This is the best BBQ in town. It?s reasonably priced, and delicious. The sides and meat won?t disappoint.
This is a small brisket sandwich It's $5.50 plus tax and it's about the size of a $1.50 Arby's slider. Tasted great but double your money and you'll get about 4 times the amount of sandwich.
What a transcendent experience. YES, this is a Gas Station.YES, it is called ?blisters?. YES, it is right off the freeway. YES, there is no sign out side telling you this is a restaurant. As a BBQ consumer I must tip my hat to this establishment. It?s wasincredible. Get the loaded fries. Either meat is incredible. Below is a picture of all my empty plates.
I used to go when it was at the gas station for years and would take people that were from out of town because it was a great deal and was fantastic. We got several things, and I think the only standout item we got was the cheeseburger. Great tasting and well made. The pulled pork sandwich that put this place on the map isn't the default when you ask for the pulled pork anymore. It is a generic sweet barbecue sauce. You have to specifically ask for the vinegar BBQ sauce now, which I was told after my food was done. Multiple people in our party had to share plates, making logistics at the table awkward and messy, especially with kids. I didn't see the value or the quality in anything we got except for the hamburger. Pretty disappointed in the experience, and it's going to be hard to ever go back.
