Great place! Good social vibes. Nice furniture!
These corporate monsters destroyed the greatest burger joint/ hangout spot/ concert venue/ awkward first date spot this town has ever known. BOYCOTT ALDER. Summer sales is a terrible job anyway.
Earlier this week Alder posted a summer job.I have always kindly turned down requests to participate in summer sales. This time I thought hey I 'll see what it 's all about. So I sent them a message to come in and visit, my wife and I had something come up before our appointment. And we sent them a message.Here is the response from one the employees: "Just a word of wisdom, be upfront and honest with people man. Don’t make lame excuses why you folded like you did. Life is about making and keeping commitments. Good luck to you. "If this is how they are to people. We will stay as far away as we can. #notgettingourbusiness#norespect
One of the best, most convenient restaurants in town was replaced by another annoying summer sales place. People have already come to my apartment several times this semester from here trying to recruit people to a job where they may or may not make money convincing naive customers to buy unnecessary, overpriced products. This is all not mentioning the incredibly bright LED sign that stays on 24/7 sending light into the void, next to their creepy black building. An empty grass plot on the corner would be better than this.
Ruined that area of Rexburg, used to be fun place. Hope sales bros go to a better company that actually contributes to to the community like The Berg.Also the sign is so bright, currently looking up Rexburg city code to see if there is something we can do to turn it off.
