It took almost 2 hours for our meals to arrive after multiple inquiries to the uninterested staff. The steak was mediocre and seemed to be overcooked, indicating the chef may not know how to cook a medium steak. Our water jugs were never refilled and the staff showed little interest in serving us. The only time they approached us was to indicate it was closing time, and even then they were not very polite. The courtesy bus driver was unfriendly and seemed annoyed by having to do his job. As a local, I will not be dining at the Red Beret again.

The service was except... read more This restaurant is an excellent choice for hosting events. The platters were delicious, with a wide variety of seafood and pizza options. The service was exceptional.

Since we were staying close by, our group caught a ride on the courtesy bus after spontaneously deciding that we needed a good meal! The kids headed straight to... read more Since we were staying close by, our group caught a ride on the courtesy bus after spontaneously deciding that we needed a good meal! The kids headed straight to the games room but were still able to keep an eye on the football game playing on the huge screens nearby. The wonderful staff managed to find us a table and provided excellent service. There were plenty of options on the menu, and the bar staff were all friendly and attentive. Our food arrived promptly and was quite tasty. We were even able to catch both NRL and AFL games on the TVs in the outdoor seating area. A fantastic spot for families with a great atmosphere, delicious food, and friendly service. The courtesy bus safely transported us back to our accommodation afterwards.

Despite our table requesting our meals arriving together, 4 members of our party waited 30 minutes before our meals arrived. Our meals arrived and my $42 steak (medium well was charcoal). I asked for another and a similar steak arrived. Needless to say the steak was going home to the dog. The pulled pork burger was soggy and barely edible. The final straw was the staff delivering a birthday cake with candles alight without the table being cleared greasy chips, half eaten meals etc and as birthday cake. Equally, three dirty side plates presented on which to eat the birthday cake. Very disappointing…
