There is a coffee bar that has a wide variety of coffees. We order our meals and all though they were very busy the meals came within a few minutes. the omelets are great. The portions are large. We had the home fries!

She was on point w... read more The most recognizable experience was the great customer service. All of the staff were friendly. Our server Lauren B. was absolutely amazing! She was on point with take good care of us. She was very attentive with making sure our coffee and water was filled and to frequently check how we were doing. I had the Country Fried Steak and Eggs w/ side of biscuit. Portions were decent Biscuit was a bit on the dry side. Next time I’ll try the pancakes. The restaurant seemed clean and organized. I recommend going here for brunch with the family! Keep up the great work.

With a beautiful and luxurious feel, the tall comfortable booths offer privacy and ample space to enjoy the delicious array of satisfying food choices. My guest really enjoyed the Deja Scramble and I loved the Vegan Scramble (pictured). Our server Lauren was great and always quick to provide for our every need. THE Coffee is FANTASTIC. Overall this gem is at the top of my Sunday morning list.

From the charming decor to our amazing server, and the high quality of both the coffee and food, everything truly impressed me. My boyfriend received a birthday cinnamon bun that was topped with the perfect cream cheese frosting—not overly sweet and wonderfully cheesy! I savored a 20oz Mount Whitney coffee, which was absolutely superb. I also tried the Deja scramble, which was served hot, beautifully presented, and incredibly delicious, with fantastic portion sizes. My boyfriend went for the two-egg combo with bacon, and the bacon was thick and cooked to perfection! Our server, Jamie O., was a total sweetheart; she made us feel right at home, checked in on us just the right amount, and presented our check without rushing us. Overall, it was a remarkable breakfast experience, and I can't wait to dine here again! Kudos to the management for running such a fantastic restaurant—thank you all!

While the building is a historic landmark in Redding and the food is quite decent, the service and frequent order mix-ups point to significant management problems. Many customers have voiced similar concerns about the service, yet nothing appears to improve. Although the atmosphere is lovely, the service really detracts from the overall experience. I would suggest considering another restaurant to save your money, although it's worth stopping by to admire the architecture and take in some local history. I want to be fair—I recognize the historical value of the building and enjoy the food, but I need to be honest about the terrible service. Unfortunately, my attempts to provide feedback were met with accusations that I was being aggressive. Yes, I did leave after being asked to do so. My young son, who used to enjoy the ambiance, no longer wants to come back. This situation clearly reflects poor management, particularly when it comes to handling customer conflicts.
