The friendly staff provide top-notch service, making you feel like a valued regular even on your first visit. The outdoor patio with misters adds to the charm of this local favorite. Whether you're a long-time fan or a first-time visitor, Damburger is a stop worth making for a taste of Redding history and a satisfying meal.
We traveled to Redding for a junior football game and decided to grab a burger before the event. Despite the affordable price, the burger was underwhelming. The patty was smashed so thin that it was difficult to taste any meat at all. It seemed like this thin patty might be a feature of the restaurant, but for someone trying it for the first time, it was not a pleasant surprise.
I visited this restaurant from my childhood and was really excited to return. I ordered the spicy "Dam" burger, but received a hot dog that was inedible. Even my husband, who isn't picky at all, was disgusted and we ended up sharing his burger instead. Thankfully, his burger and fries were delicious.
Fast and friendly service! For vegetarians they had the opportunity to garden burgers, black bean burgers or impossible burgers. I have the garden castle with fry sauce and it was hot and delicious! Love a burger spot that has not one, but 3 Veggie options!
As someone with a wheat allergy, I was thrilled to discover that this restaurant offers gluten-free rolls! And not only do they offer them, but they are also delicious! It had been a while since I had a classic burger, but these guys really nailed it.
Delicious, thin pressed burgers. Classic old school burger joint feel. Crispy Pommes. Many Shake Malz options at good prices.
