I’ll admit, I usually prefer less sauce on my pizza, so when I first saw the amount, I thought, “Oh no!” But it turned out to be the perfect balance! Everything here is either freshly made or locally sourced. They prepare fresh mozzarella and fire-roasted tomato sauce every day. And yes, you can purchase both to take home, so make sure to grab some before you leave. The pizza is fire-roasted and cooked so quickly, it’s almost faster than you can blink, thanks to the high temperature. The owner took the time to chat with us and was incredibly friendly, as was the chef. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

It’s absolutely worth every penny, and even if you have to drive a bit farther, it’s completely worth it. I wish I could find pizza like this in North Carolina, but for now, I’ll just have to enjoy this delightful treat during our visits to New York!

I thought the lentil soup was... read more We placed an online order and it was ready within 30 minutes. I had the Peppino, and my daughter enjoyed the Melanzana very much. I thought the lentil soup was excellent—it’s served cold, which I loved. The flavors featured delicious Indian spices. The Zata bread was extremely thin and crispy, loaded with spices, with absolutely no soggy crust!
