We recently ate here and the service wasn't good, the food was average and the Pisco Sour was absolutely terrible! My Wife is from Lima and we return to...Peru every 2 years and obviously eat lots of Peruvian Food which we absolutely love and I’m afraid I have to say that La Cocina Peruana is not a true reflection on Peruvian Cuisine as the food is just average here whereas when you eat proper Peruvian cuisine in Peru it’s just absolutely amazing food! I really hope this place improves in the near future!

The food portions are generous and very tardy however they did not have the beans for the pea ado a la chorrillana nor the...kale in the Quinotto. They were awaiting getting the Pisco and had no expresso. It is a charming place and the staff are very friendly and despite the shortages we had an enjoyable meal.

I tried their ceviche and rice with chicken, which are their specialties, and I highly recommend them! The only downside is that the orders take a bit of time to come out, but it's definitely worth the wait for such delicious dishes.

We told them we are ready to order and the others can order once they get here. They took our order at 1pm for all...courses. Entree came out at 2.30pm and some came out at 3pm. Entree was tasteless but I was starving so I ate it. At 2.45pm they told me to order a different main as mine will take a while to prepare. My main was seafood. So I ordered what they suggested as they said it will be ready in no more then 10 minutes. So I ordered by cancelled my desert. At 3.15pm I asked where my main was and was told it won’t be ready for another 25 minutes, so I cancelled my order again. Others did the same and others where still waiting for them their meal when I left at 3.30pm. Shocking service. Huge disappointment. I was contemplating not paying for my entree but I did
