What Javonte Bruen dislikes about Akarui:
Service is excellent, decore quite traditional. Lots of choice on the menu. The food was okay, think food was defrosted in the microwave, the wakame had ice in it, the gyoza was store bought, and the raw fish didn't seem fresh, but the rice was...good. Again excellent service, and decent price but not quality Japanese food. View all feedback.

The food here is fantastic for both breakfast and lunch/dinner. The service is consistently excellent, and the couple who own the restaurant are very attentive and charming.
I absolutely love the food! The service is excellent, and the portion sizes are quite generous. I can't wait to return very soon!
My husband and I absolutely love this restaurant. We were back in Sydney for four months and ate there multiple times a week (sometimes twice a day). There lunch specials and standard menu are tasty, healthy, freshly prepared, great value for money and always served with a kind smile from the lovely couple who own the restaurant. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and are sad to not have this as our local restaurant.
Elegant Japanese cuisine with exceptional service. The flavors are exquisite, and the attention to detail is remarkable. Highly recommended!

Amazing! with a few friends, the sushi was fresh, I ordered the ttukbaegi bulgogi (f and some veggies served in a broth in a tonware pot,) was so good! the place is very small and can only approx. 10-15 people fit. we will definitely come back! Eat took some time (as there were 2 employees, man and woman), but that was worth waiting.
