The bistro was bustling on a Tuesday night, which speaks volumes about its popularity.

Attended a day time function in the upstairs bar, and enjoyed the selection of canapés which included antipasto platters, arancini, pork belly skewers, oysters,... read more Attended a day time function in the upstairs bar, and enjoyed the selection of canapés which included antipasto platters, arancini, pork belly skewers, oysters, pulled pork sliders, potato rosti with smoked salmon and fried fish and chips, pizza and chicken nuggets for the kids. Some I enjoyed more than others I found the arancini to be bland but the sliders were super tasty. Nice location with indoor and outdoor seating and although temperatures soared over 30°C that day, the shaded spots in the outdoor area were still comfortable.

The drinks, including cocktails and other spirits, were also excellent. However, the experience was marred by the loud music that made it difficult to hold a conversation.

We ordered the rump steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, as well as the flathead fish with salad and chips. The food was excellent, especially considering it was a pub. The atmosphere is great for sports fans as well.
