The Chef Cristian Arroba, I am an Ecuadorian cook, professional in two races: Hotelería and Gastronomy, the passion for cooking began when I was a child and is my greatest source of inspiration when creating dishes full of flavors and colors to give unforgettable moments to my diners. In my life as in the kitchen I seek to turn my dreams into reality, the act of cooking represents for me an act of love and respect for others.

As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, Cristian, who personally explained the menu to us while pouring our wine. The food was truly outstanding and bursting with flavor! I opted for the octopus dish and my colleague chose a fish dish. I will definitely be returning to Maitane on my next visit to Quito; it's a hidden gem.
