Yetnal Tongdak - Queens

Without a doubt, this is my favorite fried chicken spot in New York. The chicken is always crispy and generously sauced (though they might go a bit heavy on the garlic—expect to taste it the next day, which can be a downside). One unique aspect of this place is that they don’t serve traditional whole drums or wings; instead, they take a whole chicken and cut it into pieces, resulting in some unconventional-looking bits. The best part? Instead of having uneven or overcooked breast meat, the smaller cuts allow for better cooking and ensure that the chicken stays juicy. I live in Long Island City, and even after a 25-minute drive home in the box, the chicken remains crispy. That’s what I call quality!

The best Korean fried chicken in Flushing! The restaurant is clean and well-maintained. They serve delicious chicken at reasonable prices. The service is excellent, and the staff is very polite. I highly recommend pairing it with jokbal for a fantastic combination!

I recommend ordering the sauce on the side. To keep the chicken crispy on your way home, leave the lid of the container slightly open. I usually get the fried chicken and jokbal together with the sauce on the side, and my favorite is the wasabi mayo.

I visited from California and dined here three times in a row. It was fantastic!

The best Korean fried chicken, without a doubt! It's flavorful, crispy, tender, and juicy. My favorites are the regular fried chicken and the soy garlic flavor.
