If you’re in the mood for some heat, this is the place to go! Everything was spicy except for the rice. However, if you can’t handle spicy food, you might want to steer clear! View all feedback.
I had previously ordered takeout, but this time I decided to dine in. The tripe was somewhat bland, and while the dried beef was decent, I think it would be more appealing without the cheese.
I chose to have lunch at this restaurant and found myself walking into an empty space without a receptionist. We seated ourselves and looked at the online menu while we waited for a waitress to take our order. When the food arrived, the server handed it to us instead of placing it on the table, which felt a bit odd and unnecessary. Despite that, the food was decent, though the service could definitely use some improvement.
This restaurant is a true gem! I've lived in the neighborhood for years, and I only just tried it for the first time. I regret not discovering it sooner! I absolutely loved their fried rice – it was packed with flavor, thanks to the onions and garlic. I also enjoyed their noodle stew, which clearly was made from scratch; everything tasted like it came straight from my mother's kitchen! The prices are very reasonable as well. Oh, and their red rice was fantastic too!
Authentic bhutanese dish, good vibe and service. Nice setting with large two snooker for a friendly family game.
I highly recomend this authentic Bhutanese restaurent for Bhutanese who missed thier home food and others who want to taste how Bhutanese cuisine tastes like. The people are very welcoming and polite. I got to eat red rice and shakam Datsi after 5 years !
