This is advertised as a restaurant of good “Roman” style cooking and homemade pastas. From where we come from this restaurant would not survive a week. Spaghetti was below average and where was the vongole? the butterfly chicken was dry. Grilled vegetables were a joke, not a real olive oil everywhere. Salad was a mess with Long Island Dressing. Perfection every time! we love everything about sandros!
There was a very loud guy screaming and cursing at the incredibly small TV. 1. The tv was small, because it’s an Italian restaurant, not a sports bar. 2. He was screaming at a football game between a 3-7 team and a 4-6 team like it was the super bowl. I think that is my biggest issue. Also, his group spilled a huge glass of wine all over the bartender and acted like nothing happened. It was as if he thought he owned the place and it was evident that he did have some connection to the manager. However it disrupted everyone’s experience in the otherwise exceptional restaurant.
